Payments, cancellations & unused lessons
These are the rules for paid lessons with HinaGuides. They apply to every student who books directly with Hina, so everyone is treated the same way and you always know where you stand.

The short version
- Lessons are $23 to $35 (USD) each for 50 minutes.
You book 1 to 14 lessons for 14 days at a time. Your card or bank may add a small payment fee when you pay, and that part is paid by you. - You pay before your 14 days start. A lesson is confirmed once your payment has arrived.
- Use your lessons within your 14 days. Unused lessons expire and aren't refunded.
- Give at least 12 hours' notice to move or cancel a lesson for free.
- If Hina cancels or moves a lesson, it carries over.
1Price and payment
Every lesson lasts 50 minutes. You book lessons for 14 days at a time, and the more you book, the less each one costs. All prices and payments are in US dollars (USD).
Who receives the payment
Payments are received by Ehsan Ellahi, who manages billing and operations for HinaGuides. When you make a transfer, the account holder name you see will be Ehsan Ellahi. This is the correct account for all HinaGuides lessons.
If less than the full amount arrives
If the amount that arrives is clearly short, for example because of a typing mistake in the amount, Hina will let you know on WhatsApp and the difference needs to be sent before your lessons are confirmed.
2Your 14 days
How it works
On the pricing page, pick how many lessons you want (1 to 14) and the date your 14 days start. Hina sends the payment details within 12 hours. For example, 8 lessons is 8 × $23 = $184
The next 14 days
When your 14 days end, book your next 14 days the same way. Nothing renews by itself, so to stop, just don't book again.
When a lesson is confirmed
Once you have paid, message Hina on WhatsApp so she knows to look out for it. Your lessons are confirmed when the payment has arrived, not when it is sent. International transfers can take a few working days, so pay early enough for the money to arrive before your next booked lesson.
Lessons are personal
Lessons can only be used by the student who paid for them. They cannot be given, shared or transferred to anyone else, including siblings, friends or classmates.
Your price is locked
If the price on the website changes after you pay, the lessons you have already paid for keep the price you paid. The new price only applies to future payments.
3Unused lessons
Your lessons are for your 14 days. You can take them at any pace within those 14 days, but lessons you haven't used by your end date expire and can't be used or refunded afterwards. Book only what you need.
The only exception is a lesson that Hina cancels or moves herself. That lesson always carries over. You will never lose a lesson because of a change made by Hina.
4Booking, cancelling and rescheduling
Booking
Book each lesson at least 24 hours ahead through the lesson booking page, so Hina has time to prepare.
With 12 hours' notice or more: free
If you need to cancel or move a lesson, message Hina on WhatsApp at least 12 hours before the lesson's start time. The 12 hours are counted from the time your message is sent. The lesson is not used up, and you can book it again.
With less than 12 hours' notice, or not showing up
If you cancel less than 12 hours before the start time, or do not join the lesson at all, the lesson counts as taken. Hina has kept that time free for you and cannot offer it to another student at short notice.
Joining late
If you join late, the lesson still ends at its normal scheduled time and counts as a full lesson. If you have not joined within 15 minutes of the start time and have not sent a message, the lesson counts as missed.
If Hina cancels or reschedules
If Hina moves a lesson with at least 12 hours' notice, the lesson is simply rebooked and nothing is used up. If Hina cancels with less than 12 hours' notice, or misses a lesson, you get that lesson back plus 1 free lesson. The rules apply both ways.
Internet or power problems
If a lesson cannot be completed because of an internet or power problem on either side, it is rescheduled at no cost. Please message Hina on WhatsApp as soon as you can if the problem is on your side.
5Refunds
Lessons are not refunded, so book only what you need for your 14 days. This includes lessons that expire, lessons that count as taken, and lessons you decide not to use.
If Hina cancels or moves a lesson, it is never lost: it carries over, as explained above.

6Changes to these policies
These policies may be updated from time to time, and the date at the top of this page will change when they are. Lessons you have already paid for follow the policies that were in place on the day you paid.
